Beauty Weekend: New Years look

image Happy Beauty Weekend! Since this is the last Sunday in 2012, this post is very special. Beauty Weekend has gave me the advantage to express my love for makeup with you. So lets end 2012 with a BANG! As i bring to you a fabulous New Years Look. Lets get started!

*I am not affiliated with any of the brands shown/mentioned.
* I am not a makeup artist nor have I had any training.

image
1. Prime those eyelids! I'm using Urban Decay's Primer Potion. (priming your eyelids will help you eyeshadow stay on longer with out creasing. It also helps some shadows appear brighter)

image
2. The Quad I will be using to achieve my look is L'oreal Paris Project Runway Limited Edition Quad in 416 The Queen's Gaze. I numbered the colors 1- 4 to tell you the order to go in. So with number 1. put this color all over the lid and up to under the brow bone. (A review for these Quads will be up soon)

image
3. Taking color number 2, put this color all over the lids. (don't put it to close to the tear doc area)

image
4. Now with colors 3 and 4 place them in the crease and outer corner. (just go back and forth with both in tell you get it to the darkness you like.) When you finish, take a blending brush and blend the crease together and kind of out.

image
5. Moving on to eyeliner I used L'oreal Paris 16HR Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in 591 Carbon Black.  Add this eyeliner to your top lash line ONLY! (A review for this product will be up some time soon)

image
6. Lash, Lash, Lash! Get those lashes up and long. I used Maybelline New York Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara in 141 Very Black. This mascara will only go on your top lashes. (I want the bottom area to be clean and bright)

image
7. Give your face some sparkle! Hard Candy's So Baked Bronzer in 130 Tropics will give your face that extra glow. I added this with an E.L.F. Blush Brush (I am affiliated with them). Add this bronzer like you would do blush and highlight. (I will list the review videos to both the bronzer and the brush at the end)

image
8. On to the lips! I'm using Wet n Wild 918D Cherry Bomb. To get the perfect lip click Here

All done! I hope this Post helps you with your New Years look. Make sure to Follow me on Twitter to get updated right away.

Our Holiday Tree

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Party Purse

I decided to do this post because I now a lot of people will be attending Holiday party's. (even New Year Party's) But planing to attend this wonderful Holiday party, do you have any clue what purse you will be bringing? I know like 85% of you are going to be like, "I'm bringing a CLUTCH!" Well the thing about clutches are, you have to hold them! I know myself will not be bringing a clutch that i have to hold while trying to socialize (giving hugs/kisses and drinking) to a wonderful party. So here is my suggestion...

The Perfect Red Lip

image
Hi guys! This post is about achieving The Perfect Red Lip. But lets face it, we also need it to last a long time. I will help you achieve all of that. This is how I do it...
 1. Get out your favorite lip moisturizer and moisturizer your lips. (I'm using Dermstore Lip Quench. Its a great moisturizer that really does last a long time)

image
 2. After having your lip balm on for a bit, get a napkin or tissue and blot off the excess balm.

image
image 3. Using Wet n Wild's lip pencil in 711 Chestnut (this is my favorite lip pencil and color) outline your lips. (you can go outside your natural lip line if you want a fuller lip) fill in the lips a little bit with the pencil too. (this will help with color bleeding and long lasting)

imageimage
 4. Now on to the lip stick. Using Wet n Wild's lip stick in 911D Stoplight Red take your lip brush and pick up some product. Now pat the lip stick that is on the brush all over your lips. (this will fill in any lines or cracks that you have on your lips)

image  5. Fill in those lips! (you can used the lip stick tube if you want now)

image 6. The Finish LOOk. I love the way my lips look with this lipstick. (the picture isn't much of a justice, because this color is truly beautiful. I hope this post helped you achieve The Perfect Red Lip. If you have any question please let me know.

Beauty Weekend: Classic Holiday Look

image
Happy Beauty Weekend! The Holidays are here and I know you need a look to wear to those party's, you will be attending. So what do you think about a Classic Holiday Look? Neutral eye makeup with a very classic red lip. Does that sound like you? Great, I new it would! So let me help you achieve it.

image
1. After your eyes are primed with your favorite primmer, get out your Urban Decay Naked Pallet. We will start off using the color "Sin" all over the eye lids and in the crease. (this will be your base color, and eye highlight for the inner corners of your eyes.)

image
2. Now take the color "Half Baked". This is a very shimmery gold color that you will be using on your eye lids. (don't go into the crease and don't go to close to the tear duct)

image
3. Smog is your crease color (so "smog" up that crease) LOL!

image
4. Buck! Buck will be going under your eye brows. (this is a color that helps blend and lineup other colors.)

image
5. Using this Hard Candy Baked Bronzer in "Tropics" highlight your face. (remember a little bit goes a long ways)

image
6. Well this is the final Look after adding a liquid liner (only to the top lid) an adding my favorite mascara (only to the top lashes). If your wondering were my lipstick is at, click here to see the post.

I hope you enjoyed this look because I enjoyed doing it. If there is any makeup looks you want to see, let me know.
