Style a Nike Tee

For my birthday I received this Nike Tee. (click here to see photo) I have been trying to come up with ways to style it since its not fitted. So I came up with these Three ways. Number 1. This first look i have to say its my favorite. Its very laid back but stylish at the same time. Its kinda urban, so if that's not your style this wouldn't work for you. (You gotta love Doorknocker earrings, click here) Number 2. This outfit is for you guys who like to look more put together, but have a little edgy side. (I'm loving those wedges, what do you think about the spike headband (here)? Outfit Number 3. is very edgy. This is also an outfit you will have to rock. Meaning: wear with pride, who cares what anyone thinks. (I believe you can pull it off)

Beauty Weekend: Walmart Buy

 Happy Beauty Weekend! So today I went to Walmart for the first time. I know what you are thinking, "OMG! how have you never been to Walmart?" Well, Walmart isn't very close to were I stay. So today, we decided to take a trip there. I only wanted to go for the Hard Candy products. But for some reason Hard Candy sells out like crazy. You wouldn't believe how sad i was when the Living Doll blush was all gone. Well better luck next time.

Beauty Weekend: Tropical Island

Happy Beauty Weekend! This look I am showing you today was inspired by a Tropical Island picture I found on Google images (click here). I wrote on here last week asking everyone, "If there's a look you want me to do, tell me". So my sister (who reads my blog) told me she wanted me to do a Tropical Beach look, so that is what I did. You can find my sister on twitter @StyleByCrystal...I hope you enjoy the look.
*I am not a professional makeup artist nor did i have any schooling.
*I'm using the coastal scents 88 eyeshadow palette

• Starting out make sure to put down an eyeshadow primer. Then with your eyeshadow brush pick up some of 1 and pat it all over your eyelids. This color will be your base for the rest of the colors (it also doubles as a high light). Remember: nothing has to be perfect at this point, just get the color on the lid.

• Now you will be working with the nice Blues. This part represents the water in the Tropical Island picture. Start out with 1. and then 2. all over the eye lids (don't put it on the tear doc area). When you get to number 3. focus that color in the outer corner and half of the crease. The next step 4. will be focused in the same place. (I used this color to lighten up some of the blue)

• Now we will be focusing on the green and yellow family. This step will be representing the Palm Tree in the Tropical Island picture. Start off with 1. and don't be scared that its a bright yellow. You will be focusing all these colors in the crease area. Work your way all the way to 5. and then go to the next step.

• So if you made it this far, your eye lids should look somewhat like mine. But you are not done yet. You will need a different brush for this part. I used a gel liner/ eyebrow brush. Pick up 1. and make some eyeliner on the top lid. When the blue finally shows up, pick up 2. and make some eye liner on the bottom lash line.
• Yayyy! your all done. Add some mascara to your top and bottom lashes and some lip gloss to your lips and your summer Tropical Island look is all done.

Birthday Brownie Surprise

I've been wanting a brownie with nuts for the longest time now. But i didn't want a cheap brownie. So, i decided for my birthday we would make them. If you seen my birthday outfit and food post (click here) before going to eat at Chipotle we stopped at Walgreens to pick up some of the ingredients that was needed. (photo below shows what we got) This brownie is very rich in chocolatey goodness, your whole family will love. I got the recipe here. You will see the pretzels are not included but i found that they are really good, even better than the nuts. If you try this recipe, tell me what you think or how you changed it.

Birthday Outfit and Food

My Birthday was on July 24th and I turned 22 years old. Its so weired how the years fly by so fast. It feels like yesterday when I turned 18 or 20. But i guess we all have to grow up someday. I spent my birthday in the city i love, San Francisco. It felt so great to be back in the city since iv been over in Oakland for like a month now, with my boyfriend. I decided to wear a black blazer i got from Torrid, you can also see it in this post (here) and in this post (here). I wore it with a cheetah blouse top (click here) from Forever21 plus size line and some black skinny jeans also from the forever21 plus size line. My shoes are coach flats, i got them like a year or two ago (here).

We decided to eat at Chipotle. Since i love Chipotle and my boyfriend never had it before, it was a great idea. I hope you enjoy the pictures and any pictures that didn't make it in this post will soon be in my Photo Diary section.

This Apple Juice taste so natural and real its amazing. I didn't pick it at the restaurant, my boyfriend did. But when he let me taste it, i told him, "This taste like baby apple juice". We both laughed.

A Taco Burrito

Last night for dinner we had these Taco/Burritos. I call it that because its not really a taco or a burrito, its a bit of both. This is really easy to make. You will need Lawrys Taco Seasoning Mix, Lean ground beef, Cheese (I used Kraft Colby and Monterey Jack) and a Tomato. (you can add more toppings if you want to) After eating this you will be full, so its a perfect summer dinner or lunch. If you need the directions for the meat click here. Beauty Weekend: Color Blocking

Happy Beauty Weekend! Well today is Sunday a.k.a the last day of Beauty Weekend for this week. So I decided to do a look with some pops of color. Color blocking has been very big for a while now. Since I never really got into it, I thought makeup was a great way to start. If you would like to see any looks for the upcoming Beauty Weekends, please tell me in the comments down below. Without further adu, lets get started...

•  Starting off with clean eye lids, use a eye primer of your choice and prime the eyelids and under the eye area.
• Now pull out your Coastal Scents 88 eye shadow palette. 
• With an eye shadow brush pick up 1. and put it all over the eyelids and the bottom lash line area. When your done with that, do the same with 2. (this will make your eye shadows look brighter and true to color) Tip: If you have a white jumbo eye pencil, you can use that for this step.

•  Now you will be using colors now. Don't get scared or feel intimidated, you cant mess up.
• Take 1 and put that all over the eyelids (don't go all in the tear doc area, you want the white to stay there)
• When your done with that, pick up some of 2. Number 2 is a really hot pink, you will need to focus that on the outer corner and bring it into the middle of the eyelids. DON'T FORGET: blinding is your friend.
• The last step for the eye lid area is number 3. Focus this color on the outer corners and crease only.

• Now we will be working on the bottom lash line. You will need a different brush for this part. I used a gel liner/ eyebrow brush.
• Start of with 1 and get that color as close to the bottom lash line as possible. When that color shows up and look like a dark green eyeliner pick up some of 2 and put that color right on top.
• When it looks nice to you, move on...
• Now get your concealer brush and pick up 3. This will go right under the green line. When the yellow shows up move on to 4 and put that color right on top of the yellow.
• Yayyy! your all done. Add some mascara to your top and bottom lashes and show off to your friends.
