#InstaNatural Argan Oil Hair Mask Review

I basically never talk about my hair on FashionShyChild, do to the fact of my hair being so dry and damaged. I have been straightening my hair for years now and if you know anything about ethnic hair, adding heat is one of the worst things you can do to it.
So the neglect of over straitening my hair and lack of moister my hair was getting, basically left me with dull and lifeless hair. I tried everything i could to fix it, like no processing, using sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and even making crazy recipes i found online. Nothing seemed to last or give it its natural beauty back.
A few months ago i was given the opportunity to test out a hair mask. I only used one other hair mask before in my teen years and never used one again. So i decide to give it a try and i am so happy i did.
So this is were my review begins!
I will be covering these Points: Packaging, Product Review (with Pros & Cons) and My Final Thoughts. So lets get started. :)

Packaging: Is an 8fl or 240ml tub with its name, ingredients, about and directions placed on it. So everything i need to know about the product is placed right on the tub.

Product Review: When you open this tub you will notice the strong smell right of the bat. It doesn't smell bad by any means, its just really strong and fruity.
The product it self is a cream color and the consistency of mayo. I like that because i found myself using less at a time.
I would use this product once a week, and that worked for me since i only wash my hair then. The only thing is you have to have clean hair before using this. So i suggest getting in the shower, shampoo and condition your hair, ring out the water really good and than apply this mask. The Argan oil mask has to stay in your hair for 5-15 min, So i would shower and shave within the wait. I also really enjoyed when this product was setting in my hair, it felt like my hair was getting the moister it has been lacking and my scalp was feeling relaxed too.
This product does contain 5 main ingredients which includes Argan oil, Amino Acid Complex, coconut oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin B5. That being said the packaging says you can use this as your everyday condition, which i personal wouldn't recommend.
Once the Argan oil is ready to come out you will notice your hair is way more stronger than it was before. I even noticed that my scalp looks more healthy too.
I'm down to one more use of this product so in all i used it about 6 times with one more time left. So this product should last you about a month and a half if used once a week.

Pros- hydrates your hair, hair looks healthy and shiny, smells good, great size, not oily or greasy
Cons- Smell is to strong

My Final Thoughts: Now using this Argan oil hair mask for over a month and seeing my hair look better, I'm going to have to get another tub. Its even convenient to use, since you don't have to put a shower cap over it to activate. But for the look of shiny, healthy hair fast, this product cant be beat.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Favorite Sweater

Cardigan & Tank: Forever21+ |  Sunglasses: Target "Mossimo"  | Jeans: Forever21+
| Shoes: Nike Dunks Sky High in Olive
This Outfit is nothing new because it is actually a re-envision of "A Few Inches Taller" post I did last year. I had to put this outfit back together for you all and show you the simple beauty it has for fall. I went with more of a 70's inspired take on the whole thing. An era i probably should have been born into. But its nice anyways to be teamed back up in my favorite sweater.

Hey fellow shy children!
I know I'm a bit late showing you all what i received in my Ipsy glam bag but its better late than never. This months theme was Street Style, which is a nice name for a theme but kind of off for what we received. The only products i do have to say i really enjoyed is the Lip tinted gloss, duo ended brush and the lovely bag the products came in. The other three items are basically useless to me.
That being said lets get into the names of each item...

  2. Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush
  3. Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser

Morning & Night Skin Care Routine

skin care
Happy Beauty Weekend!
Two years ago i created a post going over my morning and night skin care routine. Not really thinking much of it at the time, has now became one of my most popular blog post ever. To celebrate its success, I decided to share with you all an updated version. I by know means have perfect skin but if i can help you find a product that works, would means the world to me. So lets see what i use...
*Make sure to watch my YouTube video! It helps explain :)
1. Clean & Clear Morning Bust detoxifying facial cleanser
  • I wanted to try something different in the Clean & Clear line so i went for this product. I should have got my Clean & Clear shine control again too. So this detoxifying cleanser could be used at night, but still it works great.
2. Adovia Mineral Skin Care Moisturizing Day Cream
  • I have a whole blog post up on this lovely product. Its a skin changer and its great for all skin types. I for got to mention in the blog post but this moisturizer also works great as a primer. Check out the blog post (here).

1. Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes (blue pack)
  • If i cant get the Walmart Equate makeup removing wipes, you will definitely find these in my routine. The wipes are always moist and sensitive on my eyes. Also can we say removes waterproof/long lasting mascara.
2. Elite Essentials Facial Cleansing Power Brush
  • I have been wanting the clarisonic Mia 2 but just cant justify spending the money when i do have it. Well one day going grocery shopping i came across this baby and i needed to try it. I'm so happy that i decided to try it because it works better than i thought it would. The only down side is it runs on 2 AA batteries and there is no charger.
3. Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub
  • This was a sample in one if my Ipsy bags. I never thought i would love a scrub as much as i love this one. It smells really good and fruity but if you have really sensitive skin it might be too much for you due to the thick grid. I will sometimes rub this on my face with my fingers or even use the Elite brush with it.
4. Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin exfoliant
  • This microdermabrasion is something like the Derma E but lighter. The grid is really light and the smell is minty. But if your a sensitive skin person, this one out of the two is the microdermabrasion for you.
5. Olay oil minimizing toner with witch hazel
  • This is a toner sent from the gods! I'm not even jocking, if you have oily skin this product would be your new best friend. I take a cotton ball, put some of this toner on it an wipe it on my face. In no time the oily will be minimized.
 6. Freeman feeling beautiful Facial Peel-Off Mask Cucumber
  •  If i feel like my skin needs a deep cleaning i will use this mask.Once applied and fully dried you only have to pill it off. When doing so, take a look at the finish peel. All of that nasty stuff was on your face.
7. Freeman feeling beautiful Facial Anti-Stress Mask Dead Sea Minerals
  • This is just a clay mask that i use to relax. I don't know what it suppose to really do but my skin is so soft after using it.
8. Insta Natural Premium Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum
  • This product can look very intimidating and just plain out scary. But its really not and it actually a product that i think has worked wonders on my skin. I use this product at night as a moisturizer you could say. It suppose to help your skin retain moisture the natural way. For me i feel that it helps balance out my skins natural oil, so i don't get over oily.

Photo Diary: End of Summer

This summer has been a wild one, but i wouldn't change it for anything.
I can say I've learned a lot and even got a year older. But starting of the beginning of summer with a very big life changing decision, was my highlight.
If you didn't know i am a Bay Area native, born and raised. I love San
Francisco & Oakland with all of my heart and i new one day i would have to move and experience new things. Well that move took place the beginning of summer, when i moved from the bay area to the valley. It was hard at first, I'm not going to lie; im a big city girl. But suburb country living is also something really special.
In this post you will see what I'm talking about. This is something you cant get in a big city and I'm so very happy to share this experience with you.
"Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!"
