October 30, 2015 Alice and the Mad Hatter Canvas Review

Framedart 1
Hey, fellow Shy Children!
I have been talking for quite a while about changing up my office space and making a place I can feel comfortable and motivated in... Mainly something that expresses my personality and quirkiness. While doing so keeping In mind things a lot of people tend to over look and forget about In tell the last minute. These things tend to be art, mirrors and plants.
Today i am going to go over art because there is a really fun and easy website that you can used to find any art piece, of any  style, for any room at amazing prices and different finishes.
The website is called and right when you get on the site they have it sectioned off so perfectly, looking for something great is a complete breeze. You can search specific rooms, styles, subjects, artists and even get your own art framed. My favorite section is the framed unique art, it just has more of that quirky personality expression I love.
So, once you have your dream piece picked out and you add it to your cart, they give you the option to pick your finish. You can choose from art print, laminated, canvas and even framed. Last but not least make sure to check if there is a sale going on, so you can use that code but if there isn't, the piece you want is usually highly discounted already. If you find yourself needed help on anything, email customer service or give them a call, they are very sweet and will help you out.
For my office I decided to go with a piece by Jasmine Becket-Griffith titled Alice and the Mad Hatter. I love Jasmine's work and if you do know anything about her, she's a freelance artist that's known for her gothic, fairy, fantasy artwork... Something that's right up my alley. This piece is also a perfect size because going into pick something I knew I needed something with high measurements because my walls are just way to big for something small. I went with the canvas finish with a black border because I just like canvases over a framed piece, I think the art is more brighter and pops more. Also a long that note frames like to reflect light and I want to see my picture without a glare.
So that is everything about and my Alice and the Mad Hatter piece. I hope this review helps you out and makes your next art buying experience pleasant.

*I picked this art piece out for free, for review purposes only. Everything said is 100% my honest opinion!

I'm A Vegan Now!

Hey, fellow Shy Children!

So if you follow my health section on here you already have a general idea of my eating habits, weight and where my head is at in this lifestyle change. I do my very best to be very open and honest with you, since I do see you all as my besties. But I do have to say my heart hasn't been in the best place emotional wise when it comes to what I have been eating... But don't get me wrong, I have been eating healthy. nothing crazy, so sticking to lean meats and stuff like that. But I found myself not loving/enjoying the meat portion on my plate. It started to feel wrong and just not taste appetizing.

With that being said I would like to officially announce that, I'm a Vegan. This decision didn't happen over night, in the scene that I have been thinking about going back for over a year now but within the last 2 months I have been really serious in switching back over. But don't get the idea that I'm going to be one of those preaching vegans because I'm not, everyone can do what they won't. But I'm return I don't want meat thrown in my face.

On of the biggest questions I have been getting is, "Why didn't you just go Vegetarian"? The answer to that is, I can't have dairy already and once I cut out animal products I'm basically a vegan. Another question is, "What do you eat now?" I eat everything I have been eating just more of it. So Vegetables, fruits, beans, quinoa...etc. I haven't had any meat substitutes besides  pavillon mushrooms because were I live there just not in the stores, which kind of scares me because back in the Bay Area aka San Francisco region Vegetarians and Vegans had options.

That is basically everything I had to say. If you are a vegan and have any great tips or know good cookbooks to buy, please share them with me.

With Halloween literally at the end of this week, getting into the spirit is a complete must. But if your feeling like me, I still can't process how Halloween came so quickly. It really feels like yesterday we were celebrating Independence Day and now we are planning for holidays that really mean Happy New Years.
It also could be I'm just getting older and what used to be the exciting factors, just don't phase me any more... Now I am sounding mad as a hatter... Maybe I am a vampire!

Arvazallia Advanced Color Care System with Argan Oil and Macadamia oil

Arvazallia Advanced Color Care System with Argan Oil and Macadamia oil 1
Hey fellow Shy Children!
So I was given the opportunity to test out  the Advanced Color Care System from Arvazallia which includes a Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask that can all be bought separately depending on your needs and wants. If Arvazallia looks familiar to you on here, that is because you have seen this brand mentioned/reviewed before for there Advanced Hair Repair System. If you read that review you know I highly recommend those products, so giving this Advanced Color Care System line a test was a complete yes and know brainier.
A little FYI background information about my hair is, I do sometimes color it with a semi permanent dye, so color care is a must because the last thing you need Is your semi dye fading/rinsing out on you early. That being said lets get into the review...

Shampoo: Cleans my hair without stripping it! What I can't stand is a shampoo that strips my natural oils from my hair. I know we have all been through this, you put the shampoo in your hair to wash it and when your rinsing it out your hair feels like dried straw, tangled and lifeless. That the worst! Especially for someone with color treated or damaged hair. So glade this shampoo is perfect! ... And can we say smells great! The only thing I wished is that these bottles came with a pump but that's about it.
Conditioner: This was basically the same thing as the hair mask, just in a bottled form. So it highly moisturizing and smells great. Just like the shampoo I wish it came with a pump so washing my hair in the shower would be made simpler.
Hair Mask: Out of these three products this is by far the one that I use the most and would highly recommend you getting if you can only afford one of Arvazallia products. I use this hair mask once a week as a deep conditioning cleanse. You only need a little since the product is thick and creamy. I do leave my mask in for 30-45min with a shower cap over it. I do this because my hair is super dry and damaged it just needs the extra moisture benefits. If you are wondering about smell, this by far has to be one of the best smelling hair masks I have ever tried. Because let's just be real, a lot of hair mask can really stink.
My Final Thoughts: I love all three of these products and the Arvazallia line as a whole. I also know your thinking these products all together are expensive and I'm not going to front they are high. But there is one thing I learned/realized recently and that is, you can not put a price on your hair. More expensive hair products are marked that price for a reason due to the ingredients and benefit they have job them. So please really think about what you are using and take these products into consideration for your overall hair/hair color health.
If you would like to purchase:
Sulfate Free Shampoo for Color Treated Hair with Argan Oil and Macadamia Oil
Advanced Color Care Restorative Conditioner for Color Treated Hair with Argan Oil and Macadamia Oil
Rejuvenating Hair Mask and Deep Conditioner For Color Treated Hair with Argan Oil and Macadamia Oil
Arvazallia Advanced Color Care System with Argan Oil and Macadamia oil 2 Arvazallia Advanced Color Care System with Argan Oil and Macadamia oil 3
I got these product for free in exchange for a review, but like always all opinions are 100 % my own.

Lately I have been really feeling myself. Not in a real cocky way but I have been really feeling great.
It's my favorite season, the weather is finally cooling down and I changed my eating style... Will get into that in another post but changing what you put into your body really helps with your overall mental health and behavior.
When it comes to my style and this season I really love layering and simplicity... or is that me all year long, LOL!? But wearing a dark tone like all black and having a pop of some color or pattern is what fall is all about for me. Also finding a good quality plaid shirt is key; Levis is my go too! Because we all know quality is key and true for them.
