One Cheetah Two Cheetah

I have been obsessed with watching Nat Geo Wild's "Big Cat Week". It has literally been the only channel/show I have been watching since after Thanksgiving. I'm so fascinated, that I even skipped Black Friday to stay home... But let's be real, Black Friday deals are only really good on Electronics (got a new TV a week before) and highly expensive things. So I really didn't miss anything.
I bought these leggings 3 years ago, on the forever21 website in the plus size section. At first I wasn't  expecting them to be high quality because of the price and the store they came from. But they are actually really good quality and have a thicker texture than your regular leggings. And can we say, Big Wild Cat! ...Yesss!

ImPress With Your At Home Manicure

impress 8
A lot of us live really busy lives, from shuffling school, work and trying to make the most time spent with our families can becomes overwhelming and the last thing you really want to think about is your manicure.
But I'm sorry to break it to you, the holiday season is literally right around the corner and along with food, family and cheer comes your appearance. You have to look your very best and you know it! Pictures will be taken, long distance family members will be seen and the last thing you really want is people talking about your horrible nails/manicure.
I know what your thinking, "But I don't have time to make an appointment or walk into a nail salon"... Or "I spent so much money already, I just can't fit a manicure in my budget".

Well friends, I have a solution and I guarantee you will think me. At Walgreens for the very low price of $7.99, you can get a pack of ImPress Press-on nails that are easy to apply and look absolutely amazing. So amazing people will think you spent way more money than you did and wonder how you even made time to get your nails done with your busy schedule.
So the two packs I have and love are Boogy Down (nude ultra shine gel nails with glitter accent nails) and Tweetheart (red ultra gel shine nails with heart gem accents) The one I will be using to show you how easy they are to apply is Boogy Down... So let's get started!
This application process should only take you 5-10 minutes since there is no drying times and no mess.
First thing you are going to want to do is take off any old nail polish and wash your hands because you are going to need a clean nail canvas to work on. Once that is done, read over packet instructions. You can find the instructions located on the back of the packaging and even inside the box with your nails... How convenient is that! Now you are going to want to line up your nails according to your actual nail size. I found this part to be super easy and was done in less time than I attended it to take. Once you have them all picked out and lined up, take the prep pad and clean your nails. Then pick up the nail you want to apply first and pill off the backing to uncover adhesive and simply press on... It's that easy! No drying time and no mess and safe on your natural nails. The ImPress Press-on Manicure does use UltraHold Technology to keep nails on for 5-7 days. If you have sensitivity to nail glues, this set is really perfect for you since its basically just a super strong sticker on your nails. When your done applying all of the nail, the package does come with a mini nail file so you can file them down or shape them but other than that the mega gel shine and the natural shape will have your nails looking flawless!
Make sure you check out www.imPRESSmanicure.com to be inspired and pick out the best color and accents for any occasion or function coming up in your life. But most importantly always remember your nails don't have to suffer just because you have a hectic life... ImPress Press-on Manicure is always there to save the day.

{A cute little pug notepad, I received as a gift}

It's so crazy how the holiday season is among us and the end of 2015 is nearly approaching. But before we get to far ahead of ourselves, Thanksgiving dinner plans need to go into action. I'm so used to helping with the cooking/prep work but this year I have to figure out how I'm going to make  Vegan options for myself. So a lot of searching the web for recipes seems to be in my future for this weekend.

I'M Ready For A Hair Change

When I feel like things are turning into a continuous pattern and everyday is looking the same and on top of that, I'm looking the same, a change is needed. In this case it's my look and more specifically my hair color. In the past I have done what I consider to be the most to my hair. I have cut my hair, restyled it plenty of times and even used a semi permanent dyes, all to get that change I so desperately desire. But doing all of that only left me happy and satisfied for a little bit. And I know what you are thinking, "maybe what you want is deeper than what you think". Well I will tell you this, your kinda right. What I really want is a bright hair color like I see all of the other girls being able to rock. I just don't want to ruin my real hair in the process. That is why in the past I used semi permanent hair dye but when you have dark hair color like myself, there is only so much you can do to achieve a lighter color.
So in the process of thinking about how I am going to achieve this hair change, I have been really looking into wigs... Yes, you read that right... WIGS! This way if I get a wig I can play with colors and styles and achieve that hair change I so desperately want and be able to wear my real hair in a protected style.
But this is the only thing... I have never owned a wig in my life, so I have really know clue what to really look for. I do have experience with with clip-in hair  extensions, so I know I'm going to want something real. For the color, I really want a dark auburn because there is something about that color I just love.
So there you go! Those are my thoughts and idea. Please let me know what you think and if there is a wig company or style you think I would like, please tell me in the comments.

5 Vegan Cookbooks I Need In My Life

5 Vegan Cookbooks I Need In My Life
Last week I officially announced that I'm Vegan. So being Vegan and on a Vegan diet, I need the top cookbooks or best cookbooks I can find. But also keeping in mind, easy fun cooking.
Searching the web on this new adventure has been really fun and inspiring. Going into the whole search, I thought there wasn't going to be many cookbooks at all or just boring ones of people showing you how to eat raw... But I was wrong! There is so many cook books and talented vegan cooks and recipe makers out there that I wish I would have went back Vegetarian/vegan sooner.
One of the misconceptions I get from my family (you might get it from yours too) is that, I can't have Soul Food being a vegan... well guess what family, I sure can! ❤️
Here are 5 Vegan Cookbooks I Need In My Life...

5 Vegan Cookbooks I Need In My Life

Walking Blindly

Top: Drjays | Jeans: Ross (similar)  | Boots: Target | Purse: Aldo Shoes (similar)   | Sunglasses: Target | Hat: Icing | Necklace & Earrings: ShopmissA | Bracelet: Juicy Couture
A lot of the times in fashion, we don't really pay attention and open our eyes to the things we tell ourselves we want. We go with what society thinks is hot and trendy and just follow along... Walking blindly, one might say. A couple of years back, 2 years to exact. I bought this beautiful cross shirt online. I loved that it was black with gold detail and then seeing on the model that it had an asymmetrical cut was just golden to me. I did see that the shirt had crosses on it and some are upside down but I didn't think much of it because that was trending... Walking blindly.
I wanted to point this out because I do get questions on the crosses and why are some upside down... Mainly from kids. But I wanted to know, what you think about it?
