#ReadingWithCort Introduction

One of my New Year Goals is to read more books. Its the first thing on my goal list and something that i really want to accomplish this year and take on into the other years to come. The last time i really read a book was back in college when it was of course an assignment. That's really the only time you would catch me reading... for assignments.

I used to be the person that would go to a library, check out some books or have my mom take me to the book store but all of those things have changed. I have also over the years got out of the loop of whats the new and hot books to read. The Harry Potter series before those got made into blockbuster hits was really big in my eyes and i could never put those books down. But as an adult now i have went face first and diving into what ever looks interesting. If i keep thinking about it i will never do it, so that is where this introduction starts.

I have decided to start a Book Club on this blog and name it #ReadingWithCort. My goal is to read one book a month and make two post about the book. One post being an introduction to the book i will be reading that month with my beginning thoughts and feeling. Then at the end of the month i will make a review post that will include rating the book, talking about what happen and my feeling at the end. Doing this i can be accountable to actually read and having something to talk about on here.

So lastly if your wondering what books i am going to be reading each month i do have to say I'm not really sure. But i do know for the month of February i will be reading I Think I Love You by Allison Pearson and a list of other books will be listed down below because those books will get read too.

I Think I love you by Allison Pearson
L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad
#Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso
Gossip by Beth Gutcheon
Star Cursed by Jessica Spotswood
The Secret History of Costaguana by Juan Gabriel Vasquez
Burial Rites by Hannah Kent

PS: Is there a book you are reading or have read that you think i will enjoy? If so please do let me know.
