Dollar Tree Beauty Test: L.A. Colors Bold Eyes Eyeshadow & L.A. Colors Bold Lash Mascara

Today I'm bring to you another Dollar Tree Beauty Test. These products i did purchase back in April when i made a huge Dollar Tree beauty section purchase and im just now getting around to sharing my experience with you. I will be breaking down my thoughts on L.A. Colors Bold Eyes Eyeshadow & L.A. Colors Bold Lash Mascara. That being said this has given me over enough time to really tell you what i think about the two products. But one of the things is very noticeable... they are from the same company L.A. Colors, so this should be interesting.

So lets break the products down and see if its worth buying and using.

 L.A. Colors Bold Eyes Eyeshadow-
Review: I wanted to test this product because i bought one before it the shades Dazzling and completely loved it and was very impressed by the quality and pigmentation. But lets not forget that i am a person to always wear a eyeshadow base before applying and every product, even ones from the same line are not created quality. The one that i am reviewing right now is in the colors Smooth Operator. The rule failed for this one because its surprisingly better than the first one i owned. The colors are brighter with no base and with a base comes out beautifully. The are smooth to the touch, buttery if i do say so myself. There will be some fall out but that is someone i expect when it comes to a product that's on the cheaper side but that doesn't ruin my views on this product. Its a great everyday pallet to use and the colors are a little similar to my Urban Decay Naked Palette.

Pros: Great color payoff, Creamy, Can be used everyday

Cons: Some fallout

Final Thoughts: L.A. Colors Bold Eyes Eyeshadow in Smooth Operator is worth the money in my eyes. It has great color pigmentation with or without a base and the colors go on smooth and blend well with each other. Like i said before the colors are somewhat similar to the ones in the Urban Decay Naked palette. So if that is something you don't have or you want something the same in color but a tad bit lighter, this is the way to go.

If you would like to buy the product online, you can do so HERE.

 L.A. Colors Bold Lash Mascara-
Review: Mascara, mascara, where to start with this mascara! First of all the packaging is very eye catching and BOLD. That is actually the main reason of why i wanted to test out this product. But we should all know by now, pretty eye catching packaging doesn't always make a great product. That is what happy with this Mascara. I did not get bold eyelashes or thick ones at that. I did get darker eyelashes but i wouldn't say they were BOLD. It just looked like i had some mascara on. And i say some because i had to put like 3-5 coats just to make it look like i had anything on. But there is a positive, this mascara doesn't clump or make your eyelashes feel hard and fake. It actually makes them feel soft and like you have know mascara even on.
I do have to say something about the size. To me this looks like a sample product. I don't know if this is the actually real size or it is a sample. It did come from the Dollar Tree so who knows.

Pros: No Clumping, No Flaking, No Hard Lashes, Eye Catching Packaging

Cons: Doesn't make lashes BOLD, Little product, Takes a lot of coats

Final Thoughts: I kind of feel bad for giving this product a someone negative review because it doses have a lot of potential. If some key things could be fixed, this mascara would be amazing and something that i would buy again. But that being said, this product is something that i cant recommend to someone that loves and needs mascara because its not worth the money and its not going to give you what your looking for. But on the other hand, someone who is younger or just getting into makeup this might be someone great for you.
